Goa: Tourists Made To Pick Pieces Of Liquor Bottle They Recklessly Threw On Roadside; Locals Teach Them A Lesson (Video)

Goa is a great place for fun, but not at the cost of littering or causing harm to its natural beauty. A group of youngsters who recently drove around the streets of Goa allegedly threw liquor bottles on the roadside. They consumed drinks during their car ride and smash the bottles on the road once done. This angered a few locals, who condemned their actions and taught them a lesson.

The tourists were asked to step down and clean the premises. The Goan people demanded these youngsters to collect the bottle pieces. They caught them red-handed and asked them to correct their actions after they recklessly threw liquor bottles outside their vehicle.

A local woman confronted the tourists and asked them to stop their vehicle. "Go, go, Joh bottle phoda, woh nikalo", she said.

She filmed them on camera and narrated the ordeal of them polluting the beautiful landscapes of the state. "These people were seen breaking bottles. Public got together so that they could make them collect all glass pieces. This is a lesson learnt", she said while further mentioning that they were recording reels of smashing bottles on the street.

"They were breaking bottles and making videos", the local lady pointed out.

The clip showed two young men initially arguing with the public when questioned about their actions, but later, they were made to pick the pieces of bottles they threw on the roadside.

"Should be done in HP too"

The video went viral last month, but it continues to draw attention even today. Recently, an X user named Sidharth Shukla posted it online and said similar treatment must be given to tourists who create mess and spoil serene destinations for mere fun.

"Very proud by what the Goa locals did here - not only did they get a deserving yelling but were made to pick up the pieces of the bottles they were smashing on side of the road. A few slaps would have been nice too! Should be done in HP too", he wrote while uploading the clip on X.

It is unclear whether the matter settled there or also attracted police action.
