Maheshwari Mandal Bhayander Announces Lakhs-Worth Incentives For Families Welcoming A Third Child

Mumbai: In a bold and unconventional move to address declining population concerns within the community, the Maheshwari Mandal Bhayander has launched an incentive-based scheme to encourage families to have a third child. The announcement was made during the recently held Samman Samaroh and Gangaur Mahotsav 2025, celebrated with grandeur by the community.

Addressing a gathering of over 2,000 members, Natwar Daga, President and Trustee of the Mandal, unveiled the scheme, terming it a step towards “population revival” of the Maheshwari Samaj in Bhayander. Under this initiative, families welcoming a third child will receive a generous package of financial and welfare benefits:

  • A fixed deposit of ₹5 lakh

  • Life insurance coverage worth ₹10 lakh

  • Medical assistance up to ₹5 lakh

  • Education aid through the community's education fund

The announcement was met with thunderous applause, with community members standing in support of the initiative, acknowledging the effort to preserve demographic strength and community presence in the region.

Key Attendees At Event

The event also witnessed the presence of several prominent figures from the Maheshwari community across the country. Dignitaries in attendance included All India Maheshwari Mahasabha President Sandeep Kabra, General Secretary Ajay Kabra, Maharashtra State Maheshwari Sabha President Madhusudanji Gandhi, and Vice President Satyanarayanji Sarda. From the Bhayander Mandal, Secretary Narayan Toshniwal, Treasurer Suresh Darak, Trust Board President Madanlal Bhutra, Secretary Hariprasad Asawa, and former president Shyamji Soni were among those present, along with key members of the executive, trust board, women’s and youth committees.
