Greater Chennai Corporation installs steel fencing to prevent abandoned cars on beach

The Greater Chennai Corporation has cleared 16 abandoned cars from Marina Loop Road beach and identified five illegal mechanic sheds. Steel fencing has been installed, and the area will be monitored to prevent further misuse. Redevelopment plans are underway, including better lighting, approach roads, and a proposed flyover connecting Srinivasapuram and Besant Nagar.
