IPL 2025: Spectator Injured by Nicholas Pooran’s Six During LSG vs GT Match, Gets Immediate Treatment; Video

The Lucknow Super Giants registered a comfortable win over visiting Gujarat Giants by 6 wickets in Match 26 of IPL 2025, Played at Ekana stadium. Nicholas Pooran's 61 off 31 balls and Aiden Markaram's 58 off 31 balls were enough for the home team to chase down the target of 181 runs with three balls to spare.

Pooran's entertaining knock was laced with just one boundary and 7 sixes. During his entertaining innings, one of the six left a fan injured. In a video going viral on social media, the fan was taken for treatment after Pooran's six hit him on the head which resulted in bleeding. Despite the head being heavily taped the injured fan ensured he finished watching the match

Nicholas Pooran's performance in IPL 2025

Nicholas Pooran has been in sensational form for the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025, smashing 31 sixes so far just one fewer than the entire Chennai Super Kings lineup combined. His consistency and power-hitting have made him one of the standout performers this season.

During the match against the Titans, Pooran walked in with LSG at 65/1 following the dismissal of skipper Rishabh Pant. The left hander teamed up with Aiden Markram and launched a brutal assault on the Gujarat Titans' bowling attack.

One of the highlights of his knock came against spinner Sai Kishore, off whom he hammered 24 runs in a single over, including three towering sixes. He reached his half-century in just 23 balls, his fourth of the season.

In just six innings, the West Indian powerhouse has accumulated 349 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 215.43. His tally places him well ahead of Gujarat’s Sai Sudharsan, who follows with 273 runs, while no other batter has yet crossed the 300-run mark.
