Breaking: IPL Betting Racket Busted in Muradabad, Samajwadi Party Student Leader Among 9 Held

In a major breakthrough, Muradabad Police have uncovered an IPL betting racket operating out of a posh colony in the Civil Lines area. The police arrested nine individuals red-handed while they were placing bets on ongoing IPL matches. Among the arrested is a student leader affiliated with the Samajwadi Party. The gang was using both offline and online platforms, including special software, to operate the betting business. During the raid, police seized ₹1.47 lakh in cash, two luxury cars, 10 mobile phones, a licensed pistol, a revolver, and live cartridges. Authorities confirmed that the gang was running an organized betting operation under the guise of a private residence.
