Bengal Violence: BJP to hold massive Kolkata march today demanding Mamata Banerjee’s resignation over violence, teacher scam

Political tensions are escalating in West Bengal as the BJP is set to hold a major protest march today in Kolkata, demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The march, prompted by the ongoing violence in Murshidabad and the teacher recruitment scam, will begin at 1 PM from College Square and end at Dharmatala. BJP leaders, including Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, are expected to lead the rally.The party accuses CM Mamata Banerjee of allowing unrest in the state for political gain and alleges that she has lost control over law and order. BJP leaders claim she is giving free rein to rioters and is no longer capable of governing the state effectively.The West Bengal police have stated that the rally will be allowed, but strict legal action will be taken if there is any outbreak of violence. Security has been heightened in central Kolkata in anticipation of the protest.Meanwhile, opposition support for Mamata continues to grow.
