Indian Railways News: Indian Railways is likely to launch a bullet train from Varanasi to New Delhi soon. The train will cover 840 km from the national capital to Varanasi in less than 4 hours. It is important to note that due to the high cost of flights, not everyone can afford to fly. However, with the introduction of the bullet train, the journey will be completed in just three and a half hours. This train promises to give a big boost to Uttar Pradesh’s tourism.
The journey from Delhi to Varanasi via bullet train will take only three and a half hours, according to the media reports. There will be 12 stations between the two cities. The train will start from Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi and travel via Noida Sector 146, Jewar Airport, Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Kannauj, Lucknow, Raebareli, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Bhadohi, and will terminate at Manduadih station in Varanasi.

- The Delhi-Varanasi High-Speed Rail Corridor (DVHSRC) is expected to be completed by 2029. The total estimated cost of the project is up to Rs 43,000 crore.
Soon after the completion of work on this route up to Varanasi city, 18 trains will run on this route every day. Bullet train will operate every 47 minutes between 6 AM and 12 midnight. This will make it easier to reach several cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Delhi to Varanasi.
According to the report, a new underground station is being constructed for the bullet train at Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi. A 15-kilometer-long tunnel is being built for this purpose. Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, the bullet train station will be located near Awadh Crossing. This station will be constructed between Amausi Airport and Charbagh Railway Station.
