Aircraft carrier, 90 fighter jets, and 6000 soldiers: US surrounds Iran from all sides, attack possible if…, Trump may order…

Tehran: The turbulent land of the Middle East is once again resonating with the sound of weapons. The way the United States has surrounded Iran clearly shows that Iran can no longer take America lightly. From B-2 stealth bombers to fully capable aircraft carriers, the kind of military coordination that the US has prepared clearly shows it’s no longer in the mood to just threaten.

The US has deployed 6 units of B-2 stealth bombers on Diego Garcia Island in the Indian Ocean. It has also deployed the US THAAD air defence system to protect Israel. After all this, the US has now sent its second aircraft carrier to the Middle East.

As per reports, the American aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson has reached near Middle East. The aircraft carrier has 90 fighter jets and more than 6000 crew members. Notably, aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman is already deployed in the Middle East.

Iran and US meeting in Oman

Officials of both sides are scheduled to meet in Oman today regarding the nuclear deal. Meanwhile, Iran’s state TV channel on Friday stated that no photos would be released of Saturday’s meeting in Oman between Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US special envoy Steve Witkoff, indicating that it would be a face-to-face meeting, which Tehran earlier denied.

“We are giving diplomacy a real chance,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghei said.

“despite the tension, the US should appreciate this decision. We are not making any decisions in advance, we intend to assess the intentions of the other side on Saturday.” Meanwhile, Ali Shamkhani, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, stressed on Saturday that the talks are not direct. He said that “the foreign minister has full authority for indirect talks with the United States. We are looking for a real and fair agreement. Practical proposals are on the table,” he added.

Will The Tension Between Iran And US Reduce?

Amidst heightened US military activity targeting Houthi rebels in Yemen, a Saudi Arabian news source reports that Iran is open to negotiations regarding its regional militias. This willingness, according to the source, stems from a perceived failure of these militias to meet their objectives, with Iran now prioritizing the protection of its missile program. Conversely, President Trump has issued a pre-meeting warning that a lack of progress on nuclear issues could lead to military intervention, and the US is bolstering its regional military presence.

The latest satellite images show the USS Carl Vinson entering the Indian Ocean through the Strait of Malacca and about to join USS Harry S. Truman. Both aircraft carriers have a fleet of 90 fighter jets, helicopters, about 6,000 personnel each. As per US military sources, America is in constant coordination with Israel and Greece and has deployed the Theater High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) system to stop any ballistic missile attack.

American Aircraft Have Arrived In Full Force

Carl Vinson Strike Group includes F-35C stealth fighter jets, two squadrons of F/A-18, EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft, E-2 Hawkeye airborne command and control planes and MH-60R/S helicopters. Apart from this, the group also includes missile cruiser Princeton and destroyer Sterett.

An unnamed US official informed Al Arabiya that F-35 fighter jets are currently deployed in the region, and the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson is anticipated to commence operations near the Iranian coast in the near future.
