Prof Karamjit appointed GNDU Registrar

Prof Karamjit Singh Chahal from the Department of Architecture of Guru Nanak Dev University, has been appointed Registrar of the university.

Prof Chahal has over 32 years of experience in teaching, research and professional practice. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and has done his PhD from Guru Nanak Dev University and an ME in Construction Technology and Management from Thapar University, Patiala. A gold medallist in both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Prof Chahal is renowned for his extensive research on Sikh architecture and sustainability.

Vice-chancellor Karamjeet Singh congratulated Prof Chahal on his new role.

Prof Chahal has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Dean, Faculty of Architecture & Planning at various universities, Head of the Department, and Professor in-charge of Construction & Planning at GNDU.
