Judge rules Columbia University activist Mahmoud Khalil can be deported
An immigration judge in Louisiana has ruled that Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil, a green card holder, can be deported as a national security risk. The Lousiana federal court's ruling is crucial but Khalil won't be deported immediately as his lawyers will get the chance to fight the proceedings before a final determination is made.
