Phillies could trade for Lars Nootbaar to fix center field issues: Report

The Philadelphia Phillies are talking about a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals to acquire Lars Nootbaar to play center field in place of Brandon Marsh. Marsh has struggled offensively and defensively this season. Nootbaar is a power on-base player with above-average defense, and an upgrade in whom they could rely if the Cardinals were willing to trade him prior to the trade deadline.
