'Tamil Nadu Kaise Pahunchneka Bhai?': Prakash Raj Wades Into Kunal Kamra-Shinde Controversy
Actor Prakash Raj, who is often surrounded by controversies, has bumped into comedian Kunal Kamra. Actor Prakash Raj posted a smiling picture with Kamra on micro-blogging website X on Friday.
Above the picture was a caption which read, "Tamil Nadu kaise pahunchneka bhai ..?? Simple... Auto mein." Raj shared the post with #JustAsking which he often uses.
The caption was a reference to an alleged threat call that was leaked. In the audio clip, a Shiv Sena fuctionary can be heard threatening the comedian.
In the viral audio, the party worker can be heard abusing Kamra and stating that he would meet the same fate as the studio where he recorded his new video on Shinde. "Tu jidhar milega na bh****ke, tera bhi vo he haal hoga," he can be heard telling Kamra.
He then asked the comedian about his whereabouts, and Kamra, who seemed unfazed by the threats, replied, "Aaja Tamil Nadu, main yahi milunga." The caller asked the same question once again and Kamra dared him to speak to him after reaching Tamil Nadu.
To which the caller asked, "Kidhar aane ka?" to which Kunal responded Tamil Nadu Aaja. Responding to which the confused Sena workers said, "Abhi Tamil Nadu Kaise Pahunchega bhai," the clip was widely circulated on social media.
Kamra is facing police summons over his remarks about Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in a parody song.
