MP: Former Students Assault Khargone's CM Rise School Principal For Refusing To Settle Molestation Case; 3 Booked

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): The principal of Madhya Pradesh's CM Rise School in Khargone was brutally attacked by a former student and his accomplices on Friday.

The principal has sustained severe injuries in his head and an FIR has been registered against the accused.

The incident occurred in Khargone's Temla and the victim was identified as Ashok Singh Pawar.

The attack reportedly sparked after the principal refused to compromise on an ongoing molestation case involving girl students of the school.

According to police, the accused youths entered the school premises during ongoing repair work and began pressuring the principal to settle a molestation case registered in September at the Maingaon Police Station. The case pertains to allegations against students of the same institution.

Five stiches in head

When Principal Pawar refused to comply, the attackers first struck him with a glass and a table and later assaulted him with broken glass pieces, causing a serious head injury.

He was immediately taken for medical treatment and has received five stitches on his head. Dr. Kundan Sisodia, who is monitoring his condition, confirmed that a CT scan is being conducted to assess the full extent of the injury, and the principal remains under observation.

Three accused booked

Superintendent of Police Dharmaraj Meena confirmed that three youths were involved in the assault.

“A criminal case has been registered based on the principal’s medical report, and all three accused are being presented in court. The attack stemmed from a previous dispute, and the accused were attempting to pressure the principal for a compromise in the molestation case,” Meena said.

Teacher's union stage protest

Madhya Pradesh Teachers' Union took out a rally against the attack on Ashok Singh Pawar. Union representatives demanded strict action against the accused from SP Dharmaraj Meena. During this, apart from District President Sunil Bhavsar, Rameshchand Patidar, Prabhu Ram Malviya, more than 150 teachers and principals were present.
