Haryana tops in Aadhaar enrolment of children
The Centre has once again acknowledged the efforts of the Haryana Government in Aadhaar enrolment as the state has been awarded for being the “Best Performing State in Aadhaar Enrolment of Children” at the Aadhaar Samvaad event organised by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in New Delhi.
The award was presented by UIDAI during a ceremony attended by the Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw.
On behalf of Haryana, the award was received by Rahul Narwal, Special Secretary, Information Technology, in the presence of the CEO, UIDAI, and other distinguished dignitaries.
During the event, the Haryana delegation shared key insights and best practices adopted by the state to efficiently manage the Aadhaar ecosystem. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana has undertaken several innovative initiatives, including the in-house development of AUA/KUA systems, Aadhaar Data Vault and a unique integrated solution involving Patwaris and Tehsildars for adult Aadhaar enrolment. Special emphasis has been laid on strengthening the child enrolment process, ensuring seamless and citizen-centric service delivery across the state.
