Citroën India Launches Striking Dark Edition Across Key Models

New Delhi: Citroën India has launched the Dark Edition, a limited series available on the top trims of the C3, Aircross, and Basalt SUV Coupé. These exclusive versions have an incremental price starting from INR 19,500. Brand ambassador MS Dhoni unveiled the new lineup and took delivery of the first Basalt Dark Edition.

Available nationwide from today, April 10th, in limited quantities, the Dark Edition features a Perla Nera Black exterior with dark chrome detailing on the Citroën logo, front grille, and side body. The bumpers and door handles are finished in gloss black for a more assertive appearance.

Inside, the vehicles sport Carbon Black interiors with Metropolitan Black leatherette seats and a leatherette-wrapped instrument panel. Lava Red accents and high-gloss black finishes are applied to key touch areas. Unique elements include custom seat covers, dark chrome moldings, and a distinctive grille embellishment, enhancing the premium cabin experience.

Shishir Mishra, Citroën India’s Brand Director, commented on the Dark Edition’s blend of bold design and contemporary style tailored for Indian buyers. He highlighted the limited availability and premium enhancements, noting MS Dhoni’s acquisition as the first customer.

Offered exclusively on the top-end variants, the Dark Edition is available through Citroën’s dealer network across India. The company aims for this limited edition to be highly desirable due to its styling and association with MS Dhoni.

The launch prices for the Dark Edition models are: C3 at INR 8,38,300 onwards, Aircross at INR 13,13,300 onwards, and Basalt at INR 12,80,000 onwards.
