Jaat X Review: Sunny Deol's Film Is 'Paisa Vasool' Declare Netizens, Say 'This Is What Sikandar Should Have Been'

One-and-a-half years after wreaking havoc at the box office with Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is back in theatres with his latest release, Jaat, and if the early reviews are to go by, the film is poised to be another record-breaking blockbuster in the actor's filmography. As the film released on Friday (April 10), netizens termed it as "paisa vasool entertainment", and some even compared it with Salman Khan's recent film, Sikandar.

Jaat shows Sunny Deol in his element as he fights off a deadly criminal to save the terrorised locals of a remote coastal village and emerges to be their messiah. The film is packed with action, emotions and drama, and that is what seems to have impressed the audience.

"This is what sikander should have been man Jaat is a very fun and entertaining watch till now it is fast and yes its a commercial film But not at all a Bad one (sic)," a user wrote on X.

Another user wrote, "I would just say paisa vasool no unnecessary romance only mass and action movie is very gripping from start to end (sic)."

"Sunny Deol has converted the theatre into a stadium (sic)," a viewer tweeted from the cinema hall.

"It's a record breaker Mass movie. First half is full of action and emotions while 2nd half is full of thrill, one of great action ever present in Indian cinema and lot of emotions (sic)," an impressed fan wrote.

Jaat also stars Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Regina Cassandra and others in key roles. It has been written and directed by Gopichand Malineni.

With all the hype and positive reviews, it will now be interesting to see if Jaat manages to create the same atmosphere in theatres like his last film, Gadar 2, and if it manages to beat that film in terms of box office collection. With Salman's Sikandar failing to perform in theatres and no major theatrical release lined up, Jaat has the perfect opportunity to rake in some good monies and establish Sunny Deol as a foolproof king of the box office.
