Sirsa dist to organise Samadhan Camps twice a week
Acting on the Haryana Government’s revised directive, the Sirsa administration will now organise ‘Samadhan Camps’ twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, from 10 am to 12 pm, to address public grievances in a structured and effective manner.
These camps will be held not only at the district headquarters but also at sub-divisional headquarters in Dabwali, Kalanwali and Ellenabad. All departmental officers concerned will be present at the respective locations to ensure timely redressal of citizens’ complaints. A review meeting of the complaints received will be held every Friday.
Earlier, such camps were being conducted on a daily basis following Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s instructions in the run-up to the Vidhan Sabha elections. The goal was to ensure maximum citizen outreach and on-the-spot resolution of issues.
Deputy Commissioner Shantanu Sharma said, “These grievance redressal camps are a vital part of our administration’s public service delivery system. Holding them twice a week will streamline coordination and enhance effectiveness.”
On Monday, a Samadhan Camp was held at the mini secretariat, where City Magistrate (CTM) Yash Malik attended to public complaints. A total of nine grievances were registered, with immediate instructions issued for resolution. These included four related to the Citizen Resource Information Department (CRID), two concerning the District Municipal Corporation and one each related to the District Revenue Officer, SDM Ellenabad and the Tourism Department.
CTM Malik stated, “These ‘Samadhan Camps,’ organised under the directions of the Haryana government, have become an effective platform for resolving common public issues. Officers must ensure that all complaints are addressed promptly, enabling citizens to benefit from government schemes without delay.”
