Man Abducts Sons To Frame Wife’s Paramour In Bhopal, Held
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Upset over wife’s illicit relations, a man abducted his two minor sons from the rented home of his estranged wife with the help of his brother-in-law (wife’s brother).
Taking instant action on the complaint, TT Nagar police rescued the duo within 24 hours on Wednesday. A case has been registered against their father and uncle and the duo has been arrested, police said.
The TT Nagar police station incharge Sudhir Arjaria said the complainant, a domestic help, lived in a rented accommodation in Banganga. On Tuesday, she told police that her two sons aged 11 and 9 years were missing. Four teams were formed for tracing the boys and officials declared a reward of Rs 10,000 for providing information about them.
Police teams scanned footages of over 130 CCTV cameras from Banganga to different routes and spotted the children with two men at Bhopal railway station The woman identified the persons with her sons as her husband Prahlad Malviya (32) and her brother Suraj Ahirwar (22).
Police teams reached house of Prahlad’s relatives in Ujjain. He at first tried to mislead the police but then confessed taking his sons with him. On his confession, police rescued the two boys from the house of Prahlad’s relative. Prahlad’s brother-in-law Suraj was also arrested from Ratibad area.
According to police, the woman had separated from her husband and was frequently visited by her paramour. Her kin and husband were unhappy over her illicit relations with another man.
‘Wanted to take revenge’
Prahlad, a labourer, informed police that he wanted to take revenge from his wife and his paramour. He abducted his sons with help of Suraj and tried to mislead police by claiming that his sons were abducted by his wife’s paramour.
