The only concern is Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has managed 101 runs from four innings at a strike rate of 131.16 — 67 of those coming in a single knock against Punjab Kings. RR will hope he rediscovers his touch soon, especially with the Indian selectors watching closely.

The numbers at the Ahmedabad venue speak for themselves — the last four completed innings have yielded scores of 243, 232, 196, and 160. That’s bound to concern RR’s bowling unit as they prepare to face a formidable GT batting lineup.

Gujarat’s batting has been in strong form, led by captain Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, Sherfane Rutherford, and B Sai Sudharsan. The recent addition of Washington Sundar, who smashed 49 against Punjab, has only added depth and firepower to their lineup.
