The serial Junoon, based on the confusion of relationships, started in 1994 on Doordarshan’s DD Metro channel.

Over the span of five years, this serial produced 500 episodes, and each one of them was loved by the audience. It also made the record of the longest-running serial on Doordarshan’s prime time. Junoon, helmed by A. Salam, was based on the story of enmity between two big and rich families – Rajvansh and Dhanraj. The serial was a complete package filled with action, emotions, love, and highs and lows.
