'Chala Shalet Jauya': Alert Citizen Forum Launches 2025 Drive To Support 5,000 Tribal Students
In the spirit of the new year and with a mission to bring joy to thousands of children, the Alert Citizen Forum has launched the 2025 edition of its flagship initiative “Chala Shalet Jauya” (Let’s Go to School). Now in its eighth year, the campaign aims to support the education of over 5,000 students from remote tribal areas by providing them with essential school supplies.
The initiative, rolled out on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, invites citizens to make a meaningful contribution to children's education. With a donation of just ₹450 per student, individuals can help supply a school bag and a complete stationery kit to a child in need. Donors can support one or more students, and all contributions are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G.
“This year, we have taken a resolution to reach over 5,000 students in particularly disadvantaged tribal belts,” said a representative from Alert Citizen Forum. “Every small help brings immense joy to the lives of these children and contributes directly to their continued education.”
To make donations easier, a QR code has been provided for scanning and digital contributions. Additionally, direct bank transfers can be made to the organization’s official HDFC Bank account.
