JAMMU, Apr 8: Jammu’s Rajat Charak has brought laurels by reaching finals of the 85kg category in the 10th Sanda World Cup, where he will now battle for the coveted gold medal.
Charak’s journey to the finals has been nothing short of spectacular, with his relentless determination and exceptional skill pushing him to compete at the highest level. As the 85kg summit clash approaches, all eyes are on him as he looks to bring home the gold.
The Indian team has shown tremendous strength, with Mukesh Choudhary clinching gold in the 75kg category after a dominant win over his French opponent. Other Indian athletes have also advanced to the finals, adding to the country’s impressive medal hopes. In the 48kg category, Kushal secured a place in the final, while Ravi Panchal impressed in the 65kg category, defeating his Kazakhstan rival.
In addition, Anuj Kumar will compete in the final for the 52kg category, while women’s athlete Chavvi also earned a spot in her final by defeating her Portuguese opponent in the 48kg category.
With Rajat Charak leading the charge, India is poised for a strong finish at the World Cup. His performance in the final will be one to watch, as he aims to cement his place as one of the world’s top Wushu fighters.
