Won't be hearing cases that need verdicts to be reserved: CJI Khanna
Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, nearing his retirement on May 13, indicated he would refrain from taking up cases requiring reserved judgments. He expressed this while addressing a case between the Kerala government and the state's governor regarding pending bills. The CJI also reassigned matters related to coal scam cases due to limited time before his retirement.
