Military school cadets from Chail selected for ISRO programme
Two cadets from Rashtriya Military School, Chail — Cadet Mayank Pal and Cadet Divya Raushan — have been selected to participate in the prestigious Yuva Vigyani Karyakram (Yuvika), a flagship programme by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) aimed at nurturing scientific curiosity and innovation among young students.
School Principal Vimal Kumar Gangwal Jain congratulated the cadets on their achievement and wished them success in their journey of learning and discovery. “It is a matter of great pride for our institution that two of our students, along with four others from the state, have been selected for this esteemed programme,” he said.
The cadets were chosen through a competitive screening process that highlighted their academic excellence and passion for science. The Yuvika programme will take place from May 19 to 31 at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) in Dehradun and will include students from across the country. The 12-day residential programme will cover various aspects of space science, space technology, and space applications, along with interactive sessions with scientists.
