Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Now Gets 6 Airbags as Standard Across All Variants

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the updated 2025 Grand Vitara, now priced from Rs 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest version of the midsize SUV comes with 6 airbags as standard across all variants, marking a significant step up in safety. Alongside this, the model also receives a set of new premium features, aimed at offering a more refined and secure driving experience.

Maruti Suzuki has further strengthened the safety offering of the Grand Vitara by making 6 airbags standard across all trims. In addition to this, the SUV continues to come equipped with key safety technologies such as ESP with Hill Hold Assist, front and rear disc brakes, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers. The 2025 update also sees the introduction of a new Delta+ Strong Hybrid variant, priced at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant expands the hybrid lineup, joining the existing Zeta+, Alpha+, and the newly added Zeta+ (O) and Alpha+ (O) trims. The Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid uses a dual powertrain setup, pairing a petrol engine with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery to deliver efficient yet powerful performance.

Maruti Suzuki has added a host of new features to the Grand Vitara, aiming to boost comfort and convenience for buyers. Responding to customer demand, the sunroof option is now available in more variants, including the new Zeta (O), Alpha (O), Zeta+ (O), and Alpha+ (O). Key updates include an 8-way powered driver seat, electronic parking brake for 6-speed automatic variants, air purifier with PM 2.5 display, new LED cabin lights, and rear door sunshades to improve in-cabin comfort. The SUV also gets a refreshed look with new 17-inch precision-cut alloy wheels. Available in multiple powertrain choices – Strong Hybrid, ALLGRIP Select AWD, and Smart Hybrid – the Grand Vitara now also meets E20 fuel standards across all models.

The refreshed Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara continues to stand out with its bold design, strong performance, and multiple engine options tailored to suit diverse driving needs. Packed with premium features, the SUV now comes equipped with a large 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, head-up display, 360-degree camera, and a wireless phone charger. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a premium sound system by Clarion.
