MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav To Unveil Tech Roadmap, Launch AI Centre, Sign Key MoUs At Indore's Tech Growth Conclave-2025 On April 27
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): State’s ‘Tech Growth Conclave-2025’ is set to be held in the city on April 27. Some key events of the conclave include the inauguration of Centres of Excellence (CoE) and the signing of MoUs.
On the occasion, the state government will also make a presentation about its efforts for investment promotion. The Department of Science & Technology (DST) is organising the conclave at the Brilliant Convention Centre. In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a roadmap for the state’s technological development will be presented.
The event will be important to accelerate the investment implementation policy of the state government in IT and related sectors and to emerge as a major technology destination.
The CM will make some key announcements, including the groundbreaking ceremony of IIT Indore Drishti CPS Foundation, the inauguration of the AI Center of Excellence of Bharat Electronics Limited at the Simhasa IT Park and the signing of important MoUs to promote new Centers of Excellence, Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) laboratories and skill development.
This will promote collaboration among the government, academia, and industries. Along with this, Jabalpur IT Park Block B, developed with an amount of Rs 25 cr, will also be inaugurated, which will create employment opportunities for more than 500 people. Sanjay Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary, Science and Technology Department, will present the steps taken by the government to increase investment in the IT sector following GIS-2025.
The projects set for their foundation-laying at the conclave are LTI Mindtree (IT/ITES), Indore Super Corridor Campus (Infra), PPP Tower Indore (Infra), CtrlS (Data Center), and Panchsheel (Infra Developer). Apart from this, Letters of Allotment will be handed over to Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN), Optical Fiber (Digital Infra), and 12 companies will get IT Park plotallotment. More than 300 industrialists, policy-makers, and investors will participate in the conclave to discuss the progress in IT and related sectors in the state.
The progress of investment in sectors such as IT-ITES, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), Semiconductors, AVGC-XR, Data Centers, Global Capability Centers (GCC), and DroneTechnology will also be reviewed at the conclave. Security (with DST, MENIT, and an industry partner), Semiconductors (with DST and IIITM Gwalior), Drone School (with DST and IISER Bhopal), and AVGC-XR CoE (with DST and FICCI and MP AVGC-XR Association). These partnerships will play a vital role in shaping the state’s technology ecosystem.
