Bhiwani locals call for regularisation of colony

A delegation of residents from Siddharth Nagar, located on Dhana-Ladanpur Road, submitted a memorandum to MLA Ghanshyam Saraf on Sunday, demanding the regularisation of the colony and a resolution to long-standing basic infrastructural issues.

The delegation was led by Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Jan Kalyan Samiti president Hawa Singh Yadav.

He said the residents of the colony had been facing a lack of amenities — including the shortage of drinking water, and the lack of proper road infrastructure and a functional sewerage system.

Ram Avatar Singh, a resident, said the area, which has around 50 households, continued to suffer due to a lack of basic facilities.

“People here are living in distressing conditions. We have raised our concerns multiple times, but no action has been taken so far,” he said, urging the MLA to take immediate steps to fulfil their demands and ensure that the colony is no longer neglected.

Committee president Mahabir Singh Barar, secretary Dharmvir Singh, Sukhpal Yadav, Rajesh Kumar and Kamal Kishore were among those present at the meeting.
