‘Raja Babu’ still to come to terms with Lok Sabha electoral defeat: Kangana
Local MP Kangana Ranaut launched a sharp attack on Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh during a visit to the Jogindernagar Assembly constituency today. She accused Vikramaditya of being unable to accept his defeat in the recent Lok Sabha elections and criticised him for his political behaviour.
Vikramaditya had targeted Kangana during his recent visit to Sundernagar saying that she had been absent from her parliamentary constituency for a long time.
In a remark aimed at both Vikramaditya and his mother and state Congress president Pratibha Singh, Kangana said, “There is competition in politics, but there are limits. One should not repeatedly throw mud at others or resort to an abusive language.”
She mocked Vikramaditya, calling him ‘Raja Babu’, who is unable to cope with his electoral loss. She accused Pratibha, who is a former Mandi MP, and her family of ruling the region for over 40 years without ensuring any significant development. “Pratibha Singh has remained MP for years but she could not utilise funds for the development of the area and never raised the concerns of the local people in the Lok Sabha,” she added.
Kangana, while addressing the gathering, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transformation in the health sector since 2014 and popularising yoga worldwide. She emphasised the importance of yoga for the youth, particularly in combating the growing drug abuse in the state. “Yoga can help the youth stay physically and mentally strong,” she added.
