MYJ-GMSC edged past Mumbai City FC with a narrow 2-1 victory in a thrilling match in the Mumbai Premier League at Nevile D’Souza Ground, Bandra on Monday. MYJ-GMSC held a slight advantage in possession at 53% compared to Mumbai City's 47%, and both teams kept the pressure high throughout, with MYJ-GMSC taking 19 shots (12 on target) and Mumbai City FC close behind with 18 shots (10 on target). After a first half that extended to 45:00+05:15, the game concluded at 90:00+08:00, sealing the win for MYJ-GMSC in dramatic fashion.

PPCA Mangalvedha beat Cricket Mantras

PPCA Mangalvedha clinched a convincing 52-run victory over Cricket Mantras, defending a strong total of 168/8 in 20 overs in the Future Stars Cricket Championship in Sangli on Monday. The standout of the match was Samarth Deshmukh, who delivered a stellar all-round performance, scoring 46 runs off 31 balls with seven fours, and picking up three wickets for 20 runs.

He was well supported by N. Tad, who contributed 44 runs in 40 balls with seven boundaries and also took two wickets for 21 runs. G. Gaikwad also claimed two wickets for just 16 runs. Despite Cricket Mantras’ efforts, they were bowled out for 116 in 19.3 overs, falling short of the target.

Sagar Auti Cricket Academy (SACA) delivered a commanding performance as they defeated RUCA by a huge margin of 86 runs, posting a mammoth total of 239/6 in 20 overs. Leading the charge with the bat, Ninad Ashokh Chougule smashed 49 off 27 balls, well supported by R. Patil, who scored 47 off 26, and A. Chougule, who added a solid 46 off 29.

In reply, RUCA could only manage 151/6 in their 20 overs. With the ball, Ninad contributed with one wicket while M. Suakate claimed two wickets in three overs, conceding 34 runs. A complete team effort helped SACA clinch a convincing victory.
