Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Updated with New Features, Priced from Rs 11.34 Lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced new feature upgrades to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, aimed at improving safety, comfort, and overall convenience. Priced from Rs 11.34 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated SUV reflects Toyota’s focus on customer feedback and changing market needs. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has already crossed the 1 lakh sales milestone.

Toyota has strengthened the safety and performance of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder with a series of important updates. All variants now come equipped with six airbags as standard, along with structural enhancements aimed at improving overall crash protection. Select automatic variants also again the added convenience of an electronic parking brake. On the performance front, the all-wheel drive (AWD) version now features a new 6-speed automatic transmission, replacing the earlier 5-speed manual gearbox, offering smoother gear shifts and a more refined driving experience.

Toyota has added a host of comfort and convenience features to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, making it an even more premium offering. Higher variants now come with an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, rear door sunshades, and ventilated front seats for the added comfort. The cabin experience is further enhanced with ambient lighting, LED reading lamps, and a clearer, updated speedometer.

To improve connectivity and practicality, new Type-C fast-charging ports and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are now offered in more variants. Select trims also benefit from an Air Quality Index display for cleaner cabin air. On the outside, new dual-tone colour options add a stylish touch to the SUV’s appeal.

First introduced in 2021, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder brings together bold design, advanced tech, and a focus on sustainability. It is available with a self-charging strong hybrid powertrain as well as a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and offers both 2WD and 4WD options. The SUV’s exterior stands out with LED projector headlamps, twin LED DRLs, sporty skid plates, and 17-inch alloy wheels, offered in a choice of seven monotone and four dual-tone colour options.

Inside, the Hyryder packs in modern features like a 9-inch touchscreen, ventilated leather seats, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, and voice assistants. Rear passengers get added comfort with reclining seats, rear AC vents, USB charging ports, and a 60:40 split seat arrangement.
