'Superwoman' Tahira Kashyap Receives Love & Prayers From Ayushmann Khurrana, Other B-Town Celebs As She Reveals Breast Cancer Relapse

Filmmaker and writer Tahira Kashyap, on World Health Day, announced that her cancer has relapsed. Tahira, was first diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer in 2018 and underwent a mastectomy.

On Monday (April 7), Tahira took to her official Instagram account to share her health update with her fans and followers. Soon after she shared the post, her family members and several Bollywood celebrities dropped heartfelt messages for her.

Her actor-husband Ayushmann Khurrana wrote in the comments section, "My hero," and added a red heart emoji. Tahira's brother-in-law, actor Aparshakti Khuranna commented, "Big tight hug bhabhi! We know Tussi ainu viii lamaaa paa laaonge."

Filmmaker Guneet Monga wrote, love you! ♥️✨ this too shall pass and come out of this victorious."

Actress Sonali Bendre, who is also a cancer survivor wrote, "No words baby! Just sending love strength and prayers ❤️"

Actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna's comment read, "With you all the way my friend. You beat all of us at bowling and you will beat this too. Love you loads ❤️❤️"

Veteran actor Gajraj Rao wrote, "इसे कहते हैं असली बहादुरी … अपना दर्द साझा कर दिया दुनिया के संग, बिना बेचारगी जताये … हमारी दुआएँ तुम्हारे साथ है ताहिरा."

Other celebrities including Mini Mathur, Bhavana Pandey, Patralekhaa, Nakuul Mehta, Shakti Mohan, and others also penned heartfelt messages for Tahira.

In her Instagram post, Tahira wrote, "Seven year itch or the power of regular screening — it’s a perspective. I’d like to go with the latter and suggest the same for everyone who needs to get regular mammograms. Round 2 for me… I still got this."

Tahira added her signature wit to the caption. She mentioned, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But when life becomes too generous and throws them at you again, you squeeze them calmly into your favourite kala khatta drink and sip it with all the good intentions."

She continued, "Because for one, it’s a better drink, and two, you know you’ll give it your best once again. #RegularScreening #Mammogram #NotShyingAway #BreastCancer #OneMoreTime #LetsGo.
