Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo EX Variant Launched in India at Rs 7.50 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has expanded its eco-friendly vehicle lineup with the launch of a new EX variant in the Exter Hy-CNG Duo range. Priced at Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant offers a practical bi-fuel option that blends fuel efficiency with modern design. Aimed at young and value-conscious buyers, the model strengthens Hyundai’s commitment to accessible and sustainable mobility.

The new Hyundai EXTER Hy-CNG Duo EX variant comes packed with features that enhance both comfort and safety. It includes six airbags as standard, along with key highlights like a 4.2-inch colour TFT digital instrument cluster, H-shaped LED tail lamps, and driver seat height adjustment. The keyless entry system adds to everyday convenience. Inside, the cabin is spacious and practical, thanks to the dual-cylinder CNG setup that frees up more boot space. With a focus on technology, safety, and utility, this variant is well-suited for both daily city driving and longer road trips.

Powering the Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo EX is a 1.2-litre bi-fuel Kappa engine that runs on both petrol and CNG, delivering 82 hp and 113 Nm of torque. This setup offers a good mix of performance and fuel efficiency, making it a strong option in the compact SUV space. The Exter range begins at Rs 6.20 lakh (ex-showroom), with the new CNG variant aimed at buyers seeking an economical and eco-friendly alternative.
