'Scary, So Unsafe': Sreeleela PULLED Into Crowd By Man Amid Shoot With Kartik Aaryan In Darjeeling; Shocking Video Goes Viral
Actors Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are currently busy with the shoot of their highly anticipated project directed by Anurag Basu. Recently, they were in Darjeeling for the shoot and several photos and videos from the sets have surfaced on social media platforms. However, one of the videos of Sreeleela has shocked netizens.
In the video, the actors are seen making their way through a crowd when Sreeleela is suddenly pulled into the mob, while Kartik, seemingly unaware of the commotion, continues walking ahead.
Kartik and Sreeleela are seen walking side by side when a man appears to grab the actress, pulling her abruptly. Kartik, who is ahead, turns back only to notice that his co-star is no longer beside him. Sreeleela looks visibly shaken by the encounter and instinctively shields herself with her arm.
The video has left many internet users confused. While some called the incident unfortunate and highlighted the need for stronger on-ground security, others speculated that the clip might actually be part of a scene from their film.
"This is scary, the way Sreeleela got dragged is so unsafe. The bouncers should have protected her better. Even normal girls can’t walk in such crowded situations, she is a famous actress," read a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
"This is actually concerning. Whoever did this should pay for this but no....we will debate on a 300 years old grave but will not introduce more strict laws for women's safety " read another comment.
Sreeleela has not reacted to the viral video yet.
A few days ago, several pictures and videos of the actors from Gangtok shoot surfaced on social media. In the visuals, Kartik is seen receiving a warm welcome from hundreds of fans who gathered around his car, eager to click pictures with him.
At one point, Kartik was mobbed by fans before he could get into his car. Several security officials can be seen escorting him to his vehicle.
The yet-untitled film marks the Bollywood debut of south sensation Sreeleela. While the title of the film is yet to be announced, reports have it that the film is a romantic musical.
Earlier, Triptii Dimri was supposed to star opposite Kartik in the film, however, she was replaced by Sreeleela due to reasons unknown. The film is slated to release on Diwali this year. It is set to clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Thama.
