WATCH: Kavya Maran gets angry for THIS reason during match against GT, video is going viral

New Delhi: In a Sunday IPL 2025 match at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Mohammed Siraj‘s impressive bowling performance (4-17) restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 152/8 in 20 overs. After dismissing Travis Head in the first over, Siraj later removed Abhishek Sharma, contributing to Hyderabad’s slow start and a powerplay score of 45/2, their second-lowest in recent times. This poor performance, particularly Abhishek’s dismissal, visibly upset SRH owner Kavya Maran, generating significant social media attention.

After a promising start, Kishan’s innings ended prematurely when he was dismissed by Prasidh Krishna for 17 runs in the eighth over.

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen steadied Hyderabad’s batting performance with a series of rotating strike shots against Rashid Khan and Sai Kishore during the middle overs.

A 50-run partnership for the fourth wicket was ended when Kishore dismissed both batsmen in consecutive overs. Klaasen, who scored 27 runs (including a six and two fours), and Nitish, who made 31 runs from 34 balls, were both out.

Hyderabad’s late-game surge hopes were dashed when Krishna dismissed Kamindu Mendis after only five balls, leaving them at 120 for 6 after 17 overs.

Siraj ended his bowling spell with an impressive final over, dismissing Aniket Verma (18) and Simarjeet Singh (0) to achieve his fourth wicket. This performance, yielding figures of 4 for 17, represents his best bowling figures in IPL history.

Hyderabad reached 152 for 8 wickets, with Pat Cummins contributing a quickfire 22 not out including a four and a six. Mohammed Shami also added a boundary in the final over. Siraj, Rashid, and Krishna each took two wickets while maintaining economical bowling figures.
