As part of their ongoing community outreach, the district police have launched a special awareness campaign titled “Kisho Kanoon, Kisho Adhikar”, aimed at empowering citizens, particularly the youth. The campaign would address key problems such as drug addiction, mental health, prevention of sexual exploitation and citizens’ legal rights.

Over the next four months, a series of awareness programmes would be conducted in schools, colleges, youth clubs, women’s organisations and gram panchayats. These initiatives would be led by police officers and staff, providing vital information on drug addiction, mental health sensitivity, sexual exploitation laws, legal rights and road safety.
