BJP celebrates its 46th foundation day with enthusiasm across Karnal, Rohtak districts
Leaders and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the 46th foundation day with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit across the district.
Programmes were held at booth levels as well as at the district party office ‘Karan Kamal’. The party workers, leaders, and office-bearers came together to commemorate the founding of the party with flag hoisting, distribution of sweets and expressions of unity. Besides, the party leaders and workers also hoisted the party flag at their residences.
District president Parveen Lather, former district officiating president Brij Gupta, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta and other senior leaders celebrated the foundation day with party workers at the party’s district office.
Speaking on the occasion, Lather extended greetings to all BJP workers and emphasised the role of party workers in making BJP the largest political party in the world. “It is because of the tireless dedication and commitment of our workers over the decades that the party stands strong today,” he said.
Brij Gupta and Mayor Renu Bala Gupta also appreciated the contribution of party workers and said, “This important day reminds us of our unique commitment towards building a developed India and contributing to the country’s progress. Our workers are the backbone of the party—its soul. It is their sweat and sacrifice that has brought the BJP to new heights.”
The party leaders and workers paid tribute to those who laid the foundation of the party and dedicated themselves to strengthening it over the years.
Gupta said, “We all are jointly celebrating the foundation day with joy. The BJP was founded to uphold the nation’s pride and to lead it on the path of development. Today, our government is working exactly in that direction.”
“The country, state and civic bodies have ‘triple-engine governments’ working together. We also remember our seniors and elders who dreamt of building a strong and progressive nation, which led to the formation of the BJP. Today, people across the country and the state stand with the party, and we are committed to working for them.”
Besides, a party flag hoisting programme was organised at the residence of BJP leader Trilochan Singh, who has recently joined the BJP after quitting the Congress. Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta and former officiating district president Brij Gupta hoisted the flag at his residence.
Highlighting the party’s growth, Anand said the BJP was working with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, and it was continuously working for the development and welfare of the people.”
The party leaders also shared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to visit Haryana on April 14 and would address a grand rally in Yamunanagar. There the PM would lay the foundation stone of a 800MW power unit.
Rohtak/Rewari:The foundation day of the BJP was celebrated in Rohtak and Rewari districts, with party leaders hoisting the party’s flags and congratulating each other on this special occasion.
“In 45 years, the BJP has achieved historic milestones and emerged as the world’s largest political party. With historic victories in the last three Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the BJP has proven itself to be the most popular party in India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the country and the state are progressing on an unprecedented path," said Krishan Murti Hooda, former Labour and Employment Minister and senior BJP leader.

He emphasised that the BJP was an ideology-driven party that never compromised. “In line with the party’s direction, local leaders today celebrated the BJP’s foundation day by hoisting flags at their homes," Krishan Murti added. Shamsher Kharak, BJP state co-media incharge, after hoisting the party’s flag at his residence, stated, “The BJP is not just a political party, but an ideology. It represents the sentiment for the nation’s welfare, a path of service and a commitment for uplifting the most marginalised. It is also a resolve to build a strong, educated, prosperous, and developed India."
In Rewari, BJP leader and Councillor Rahul Joshi organised an event in Dharuhera to commemorate the foundation day. On the occasion, the BJP flags and sweets were distributed among party workers. “We should all feel proud to be part of the world’s largest democratic political organisation, which is always working for the interest of the people," said Joshi.
