ADC instructs officials to ensure PPP physical verification in Bhiwani
The Bhiwani administration has directed the officials concerned to ensure that the physical verification process of the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) — a family ID — is conducted by visiting the individual concerned’s home. In a meeting with the Citizen Resource Information Department (CRID) held by Bhiwani Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr Manish Nagpal at the DRDA office, the ADC warned that any official who completes formalities without conducting physical survey would face strict action.
He said the verification process should be completed within a set timeframe to prevent any inconvenience to residents. The ADC directed the officials to resolve complaints related to CRID received through grievance redressal camps, failing which departmental action would be taken against the officer concerned.
Families whose incomes were recorded as zero in the PPP must be verified to ensure accuracy, he added.
He reminded officials that several government schemes were linked to the PPP, making it essential for all staff to conduct a thorough and honest investigation on-site.
Officials were directed to check whether families with an annual incomes less than Rs 1,80,000 owned assets. He said the increasing number of complaints related to the PPP in grievance redressal camps necessitated weekly review meetings. The ADC said the primary objective of the PPP was to create an authentic, verified and reliable database of all families in the state.
The ID was linked to birth, death and marriage records to ensure automatic updates, making it a high-priority task for officials, he added.
