One such person is IAS Divya Tanwar, who passed the UPSC exam at the young age of 21 and became the youngest IAS officer in India, facing all the challenges during her journey. Let’s know her story.

Who is Divya Tanwar

In her first attempt, Divya secured an impressive AIR 438 and chose to be an IPS Officer. But she was not satisfied with her performance in the exam and decided to try again. In her second attempt, Tanwar again cracked the exam and secured AIR 105. This time, she chose to become an IAS and became the youngest IAS officer in India.

Life Full Of Struggles

Divya Tanwar faced financial hardship following her father’s early death. Her mother, working as a housekeeper, provided unwavering support and encouragement, motivated by Divya’s academic achievements.

Divya hails from Haryana’s Mahendragarh District. She completed her early education from government schools and then went to Navoday Vidhyalaya. After completing her graduation in science, she started preparing for the UPSC exam.

Divya achieved a 438th All-India Rank in the 2021 UPSC exam. Her accomplishment impressed famous educator Vikas Divyakirti, who counts her among his most successful students.

Divya Tanwar now serves as an IAS officer in the Manipur cadre.
