Jasprit Bumrah 'Ready To Roar' For MI In IPL 2025 – Must-Watch Clip

There's finally some positive news for five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI), who are struggling in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has rejoined the squad after recovering from injury. The seasoned Indian fast bowler had missed the first four matches of the season due to fitness issues.

Missed Champions Trophy after Test injury

Jasprit Bumrah sustained a back spasm during the fifth Test between India and Australia in Sydney earlier this year. Post-injury, he was undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy's (NCA) Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

The injury ruled him out of the Champions Trophy 2025. Despite his absence, Team India, under Rohit Sharma's leadership, ended a 12-year wait to lift the Champions Trophy title.

Big boost to MI's bowling unit

Jasprit Bumrah's return is set to add much-needed strength to Mumbai Indians' (MI) bowling attack, which has appeared vulnerable even with the presence of Trent Boult and the promising performances of youngster Ashwini Kumar. His experience and control at the death could help stabilize the team's bowling woes in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Likely to sit out RCB clash

Although Jasprit Bumrah has linked up with the squad, it wouldn't be surprising if he's rested for Mumbai's upcoming clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday. The franchise has often been cautious with his workload, especially after returning from injury.

Mumbai's position in points table

Mumbai Indians currently sit at eighth place on the points table, with just one win from four matches. If they hope to remain in playoff contention, the team will have to start stringing together victories - and Bumrah's return might just be the spark they need.
