Devotion Peaks on Ram Navami: Massive Crowds Gather in Ayodhya for Ram Lalla Darshan

On the sacred occasion of Ram Navami, Ayodhya witnessed an overwhelming surge of devotion as over 5 lakh devotees gathered to take a holy dip in the Sarayu River and offer prayers at the Ram Lalla temple. The city transformed into a spiritual hub with chants of "Jai Shri Ram" echoing throughout the streets. Pilgrims from across India flocked to the city, some traveling for days to be a part of this historic celebration.Before visiting the temple, devotees performed rituals by bathing in the holy Sarayu, holding sacred water in their hands and donning saffron robes and headbands bearing Ram's name. The crowd included families, children, and elderly devotees, all expressing their faith and joy.The Uttar Pradesh administration had put in place Kumbh-like security arrangements to manage the influx. AI-enabled drones monitored the area around Ram Mandir for real-time crowd tracking and surveillance. Special resting zones and food stalls were set up for the comfort of the pilgrims.Officials estimate over 10 lakh devotees to visit Ayodhya throughout the day. Security has been intensified, especially in sensitive districts of Western UP, to ensure a safe and seamless celebration of this grand festival of faith
