Srinagar, Apr 5: To ensure that patients do not have to travel long distances for treatment, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals today announced a collaboration with Aamina Hospital to bring world-class healthcare services to Srinagar.

Addressing a press conference, the doctors informed that under this initiative, a team of 20 highly experienced doctors from multiple specialties will visit Aamina Hospital every month.
Dr. Shahin Nooreyezdan, Senior Consultant of Cosmetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating, “This partnership is a crucial step in bridging the healthcare gap by bringing world-class medical expertise closer to the people of Srinagar.”
He added that the team of specialists will not only provide advanced treatment options that were previously difficult to access in the region, but will also work closely with local healthcare professionals, mentoring them and sharing knowledge.
As part of the partnership, Apollo’s expert doctors will conduct Outpatient Department (OPD) consultations at Aamina Hospital, offering both invasive and non-invasive procedures to patients.
These specialists will provide comprehensive medical consultations and advanced treatment options, ensuring that patients in Srinagar have access to top-tier healthcare expertise without needing to travel long distances.
Dr. Sameer Kaul, Senior Consultant of Surgical Oncology and Robotics at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, echoed these sentiments, saying, “Our goal is to provide patients with the latest treatment options and expert medical care without the need to travel long distances.”
By offering both invasive and non-invasive procedures at Aamina Hospital, he said, patients will receive the highest standards of care locally.
