Tech university launches poster for Career Verse-2025

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, has launched the official poster and folder for Career Verse-2025, a mega job-cum-summer internship fair scheduled for 18-19 April.

The poster was unveiled during a recently held meeting of chairpersons, presided over by Vice-Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi. According to the university, the event aims to provide a robust employment and internship platform for students of the university, affiliated colleges and other institutions across the region.

The Vice-Chancellor has exhorted students from GJUST and affiliated institutions to actively participate in the fair, calling it a golden opportunity to engage with top recruiters.

Citing Hisar’s rapid industrial and infrastructural growth, including the airport and the expanding business ecosystem, he urged industries from Hisar and the NCR region to be part of this initiative.

Registrar Vijay Kumar said various committees for the smooth execution of the job fair had been constituted.

Director (Placement) Dr Partap Singh said the first day of Career Verse-2025 would focus on companies seeking professional candidates from BTech, MBA, MCA, BPharma, MPharma, BPT, MPT and MSc programmes, while the second day would be open to companies hiring for diverse roles, including candidates from BA, BCom, BSc, MA and other disciplines.

The job fair would be conducted in both physical and virtual modes, with over 2,000 students expected to participate.

To ensure thorough preparation, the Training and Placement Cell is set to organise CV and interview preparation workshops on April 15-17 at Ranbir Singh Auditorium.

Assistant Director Aditya Vir Singh said more than 50 recruiters from diverse sectors — including IT and software, core engineering, pharma and healthcare, FMCG, banking and finance, consulting, digital marketing, logistics and academia — would participate in the fair.

Key recruiters included Jindal Stainless Limited, Genpact, VVDN, LIC, Tech Mahindra and Star Health, he added.

He said a portal (www.iconnectgjust.in/tpcell_careerverse) had been launched for the registration of recruiters as well as the students willing to participate in job fair.
