Actually, aerospace startup Sarla Aviation has introduced its prototype air taxi ‘Zero’ in the Startup Maha Kumbh. This taxi will fly for a short distance. 6 people will be able to sit in it at a time. This taxi will start running by the year 2028.

According to the company, this taxi will be started first in Bengaluru. After this, the service of this taxi will be available in other cities of the country as well. ‘Zero’ air taxi can fly up to 160 km at a time. However, it will be initially used for short distance trips of 20-30 km. This taxi will be able to fly at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour and will be ready for the next trip in just 20 minutes of charging.

Service will start by the year 2028

Sarla Aviation is aiming to start its services in the country in 2028. To implement this plan as soon as possible, the company is rapidly expanding its team. After starting the service in Bengaluru, this service will also be started in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Noida and Pune. Preparations are being made to keep the price of one trip of flying taxi equal to the premium service of Ola-Uber. So that common people can start traveling with this taxi. The company says that apart from passenger transport, free air ambulance service will be started to meet emergency medical needs in urban areas.

Maruti Suzuki’s flying car will be launched in 2025

Maruti Suzuki also introduced the prototype model of its flying car at the India Global Mobility Expo-2025. The brand is making this flying electric car in collaboration with its parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC). The company has partnered with Japanese startup Skydrive for this. It can be used as an electric flying taxi service in urban areas.
