Pakistan all-rounder Khushdil Shah was held back by a security personnel as he tried to attacked some fans who reportedly didn't hold back from criticising the tourists for their disappointing performance against New Zealand in the limited-overs leg. A picture of the same surfaced on social media of the same and it has been going viral.

With the visiting side left to chase 265 in a 42-over contest in the third ODI in Mount Maunganui, Babar Azam scored a half-century, peeling off 50 off 58 deliveries but it was not enough as the Men in Green still fell 43 runs short. Ben Sears took sensational figures of 9-0-34-5 to bowl the Men in Green out for 221 in 40 overs.

Meanwhile, below are the photos of Khushdil Shah getting violent during the third ODI:

The defeat ensured a 3-0 ODI series whitewash and a 4-1 result in the preceding T20I leg. Although Sears took five wickets in the third ODI, the Player of the Match award went to Michael Bracewell for his 59. This is also not the first time that a Pakistan cricketer had been involved in an altercation with fans. Fast bowler Haris Rauf had also confronted some fans during the T20 World Cup last year in the USA as the fans had allegedly tanted him over Pakistan's group-stage exit from the tournament.
