CBI probe sought into Bharat Mala Project irregularities in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh's Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant has called for a CBI probe into alleged Rs 43 crore irregularities in the Bharat Mala Project, highlighting corruption in land compensation processes. Mahant claims public servants and landowners fraudulently inflated compensation amounts and criticized the decision to assign the case to the state-level Economic Offences Wing instead of a central agency.
