Farmer takes up crop loss compensation issue with CM

Through video conferencing, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday talked to Gajender Pal, a farmer from Khanuwala village, at a Samadhan Shivir held in Bilaspur town of Yamunanagar district.
The farmer told the CM that he had come to the Samadhan Shivir to raise an issue he had with crop loss compensation. The Chief Minister directed Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta to resolve the problem quickly.
As per available information, the CM gathered information from all Deputy Commissioners in the state about the complaints received in Samadhan Shivirs, asking them to settle those problems on priority. Gupta has asked officers of the district administration to make every possible effort to resolve the problems of applicants.
He said, as per the instructions of the state government, Samadhan Shivir was being organised at the district headquarters from 10 am to 12 noon on every working day in order to provide quick resolution to the problems of the common man.
For redressal of complaints related to gram panchayats, Samadhan Shivir was being organised at the sub-divisional level, and for redressal of complaints related to the municipal corporation, Samadhan Shivir was being organised at the MC office on every working day from 10 am to 12 noon, he added.
He said the Chief Minister was monitoring applicants’ problems. Superintendent of Police Rajiv Deswal, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ayush Sinha, ADC Naveen Ahuja, Zila Parishad CEO Virender Singh Dhul, Jagadhri SDM Sonu Ram, Bilaspur SDM Jaspal Singh Gill, Radaur SDM Narender Kumar, City Magistrate Piyush Gupta, DRO Tarun Sahota, DDPO Narender Singh and DIPR Dr Manoj Kumar were among those present at the event.
