KKR Vs SRH, IPL 2025 Match 15: Highlights
SRH won the coin toss and elected to bowl first against KKR at the Eden Gardens, and the decision proved to be a smart move at first, as the home side were reduced to 16/2 in 2.3 overs.
Captain Ajinkya Rahane and 'starboy' Angkrish Raghuvanshi showed maturity on the pitch, as the duo knitted a partnership of 81 off 51 balls for the 3rd wicket, which helped KKR gain stability.
A few jitters followed up in the middle overs, but SRH bowlers were left bamboozle by explosive hitting from Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh, as KKR scored 78 runs in the last 5 overs to reach the total of 200 at the end of their innings.
In reply, SRH got off to a horrible start, as ther star-studded Top 3 were back in the pavilion inside the first 13 balls, as Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana wreck havoc in the powerplay.
Apart from Henrich Klaasen, no other SRH batter showed promise, as they kept on departing at regular intervals.
Varun Chakravarthy was once again at his best, as the Indian spinner scalped 3 wickets for 22 runs, and was well-complemented by fellow spinner Sunil Narine, who had just 1 wicket to his name.
In the end, SRH just managed 120 runs, and have now lost their 3rd game of the season.
